AAN: Lipid and Blood-Pressure Control Has Cumulative Effect

In patients with recent stroke or transient ischemic attack and no known coronary heart disease, optimal lipid and blood-pressure control significantly reduces the risk of stroke and other major cardiovascular events, according to research presented at the annual meeting of the American Academy of Neurology, held April 25 to May 2 in Seattle.
