One in Seven Readmitted After Revascularization

Readmission after percutaneous coronary intervention occurs in 14.6 percent of cases, and rehospitalization within 30 days of undergoing the procedure is associated with higher odds of mortality, according to a study published in the Sept. 1 issue of the Journal of the American College of Cardiology.
